At Nareen we raise merino sheep and angus cattle with attention to animal welfare, sustainability and our community.
The Dickinson family own Nareen Station, made up of 3 farms. Nareen Station and Barrama are in Victoria’s rolling redgum country whilst Boyong is in well-drained coastal farmland near Robe, SA. They have phalaris, ryegrass and sub-clover pastures with lucerne paddocks for growing out lambs in summer while Boyong is used mainly for back-grounding cattle. Our people share knowledge and experience with each other and our jackaroos and jillaroos.
Gordon and Alexandra are farmers trying to achieve financial success, best practice animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
